Six associations receive 'Power of A' awards

Six associations receive “Power of A” awards ASAE held a slightly expedited Summit Awards Dinner Oct. 3 at the National Building Museum, as six groups received awards while event organizers tried to move the evening along to allow attendees to watch some of the first presidential debate. “We’re just going to speed things up a little bit,” Master of Ceremonies Velma Hart told the crowd before awards were presented. Hart, a former ASAE board chair, is CFO at the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
